3 NEW kits - Iron Scrapper (Week 2) - FREEBIE!

I’m excited about the kit I’m releasing into Fresh Fruit this week! I’m kicking off a new series of products. I have lots of plans for the “Outdoorsy” series, including camping, hiking, fishing, geocaching, and more. (If you have any suggestions for Outdoorsy themes, leave them in the comments. I’d love to hear what you want to see!)

We spent a week on a houseboat at Lake Powell last month and I was taking notes about everything! We love boating, fishing, kayaking, jet skiing, paddle boarding, swimming….all of the fun things you can do at the lake. Outdoorsy: On the Lake includes all sorts of lake/water sport themed elements, words and papers. It is 20% off this week during Fresh Fruit at HERE Scrap Orchard. Plus, if you buy the kit this week, you’ll get the coordinating Outdoorsy: Stitches for Free!

My first Iron Scrapper kit this week is based on the song “Maggie’s Farm” by Bob Dylan. My husband’s father (who I greatly loved and respected) LOVED Dylan. So Alan grew up listening to him. I met Al when I was 20 and he introduced me to Dylan with an album that included Maggie’s Farm. Since I love the song, and I especially love drawing animals, I decided this was the perfect theme. You can find Maggie’s farm HERE in my store.

My second Iron Scrapper kit this week is based on a song by Merle Haggard called “Working Man Blues” which is one of my Haggard faves! I remember listening to Merle Haggard on camping trips in our motor home as a little girl. My siblings and I still love him. I saw him in concert a couple years ago with two of my brothers. I also thought that the colors for Iron Scrapper this week were just perfect for a construction kit! You can find Working Man Blues HERE in my store.

Have you participated in my designer challenge at Scrap Orchard? You can win a $20 gift certificate to my store just by submitting a page! Check out the details HERE.

This month's challenge is a Scraplift Challenge. Scraplifting is copying a completed layout completely or in part. For this scraplift, your layout must be a centered layout like the sample layout below. A centered layout is a layout where the photos, elements, text are centered on the page keeping your eye to the middle of the page; there should not be photos or clusters at the edges or corners of the page.

I LOVE this cute sample page made by Tracy!

I have a freebie for you today! I have created some vellum leaves and flowers that add some pretty texture fastenedto a page or tucked into clusters with greenery, flowers and other embellishments. I hope that you enjoy using them! Have a good one!
(Please note that if you are creating a layout for any of the Iron Scrapper challenges, you cannot use this freebie on your page submitted for the competition. It will disqualify your page.)

Can you swoon over a scrapbooking kit? 'Cause I seriously love the new kit. We spend as much time at Bear Lake as we can and I am always looking for a new lake kit. Can you do no wrong? Because even though I don't care about construction or spend any time on a farm I want them too! You're amazing.

The person who scrapped the "on The lake" duck, what mask did she use for the layout? I want to scraplift the layout and I've already purchased the kit for that purpose. But, I don't know how to find the layout in the ScrapOrchard gallery to find out the credits. Thanks for you help. LOVE the kit :D
