A guest spot...Down Under

Look who's celebrating their 4th birthday:

I'm so honored to have been invited to be the guest designer for the month of August at PickleBerryPop!! I have a brand new kit to celebrate the birthday of my favorite Aussie Digi-Scrap Store.

My new kit is called Down Under. I've always dreamed of visiting Australia, but since it's on the completely other side of the world from me...this kit might just be as close as I'll get to the land of Oz for a little while yet! Down Under includes 12 papers, full alpha and 47 unique elements. In honor of the PBP birthday celebration, I'm introducing Down Under at 35% off! You can find it HERE in my PBP guest store during the month of August. (**Edited: Down Under is now available exclusively HERE at After Five Designs.)

Down Under

I have a feltie alpha sampler for you which coordinates with the Down Under kit. I hope that you enjoy it!

Oh Kristin this is so gorgeous and perfect timing! I'm just about to scrap my daughter's first zoo pics and of course here in Oz it includes all the native animals which I had nothing to scrap with. This is awesome! BTW it was finding your kits at PP that first got me hooked on scrapping, so enjoy your time back there :)

Oh Kristen, this is just gorgeous! I live in beautiful Tasmania, the cool southern-most state of Australia, where we do have plenty of kangaroos, possums, wombats and blue-tongue lizards. (Crocodiles fortunately are in more northern climates!)

Like Rags I have some pix to scrap, from my son's 8th birthday at a local wildlife park - and you have just created exactly what I need! Thank you so much.

A little request though, would you please consider doing a little add-on with a couple of additional animals? I'm thinking the echidna (a prickly native like a hedgehog), and especially the Tasmanian Devil.
The Tassie Devil would be a really good one to do as it's a species endangered by the 'facial tumour disease', a form of cancer which spreads when the Devils fight each other. Our Oz scientists are working desperately to save this unique animal. Anything that will raise awareness of them would be wonderful.

As my 8yo would say... pretty please with a cherry on top?

Seriously, I love your kits, thank you for sharing your creativity with us all!

Thanks so much for the kind words ladies!!

Kylie I had originally intended to add a few more animals to this kit. Namely the hedgehog thing (hahah), a dingo, kookaburra (sp), and a tasmanian devil. I just plain ran out of time. I'll definitely consider working on an add on with additional animals if I can fit in the time when I move this kit over to A5 next month. :)

As a huge fan of yours, this will be a must add to my collection! Especially since it was my dream to go there since I was 3 years old and hold a koala. I got to go 12 years ago and I got to hold 3 koalas!! I can't wait to play with this. Beautiful and loads of fun! Thank you Kristin!!
